Brilliante
Sparkling Brut
Elegant and effervescent, Brilliante is a sparkling brut that celebrates clarity and zest.
Its delicate, fresh, and aromatic taste makes it particularly suitable for not overly elaborate seafood dishes. It pairs well with appetizers, seafood starters, shellfish, and, in general, fish-based main courses (baked or boiled).
We recommend trying it also with fresh cheeses and white meats.
Crafted at the sunlit estate of Podere Tesoro, Brilliante is a versatile sparkling brut designed to elevate any occasion. Equally at home as a refreshing aperitif or alongside food, it pairs beautifully with appetisers, risottos, white meats, shellfish, fried fish, and seafood dishes. Its refined profile also complements the delicacy of fresh cheeses and the depth of soft or semi-aged varieties.

Serving Suggestions –
Best enjoyed well-chilled at 5–6°C, Brilliante reveals its full freshness and lively character when served as an aperitif or throughout a meal. Its dry, full-bodied profile makes it an ideal partner for appetisers, risottos, white meats, shellfish, and raw or fried fish. It also pairs beautifully with fresh cheeses and the softer richness of semi-aged varieties, offering remarkable versatility and balance at the table.
Vineyard & Terrior
Main grape varieties: White-berried varieties suited for sparkling wine production, with Vermentino as the primary grape.
Production area: Indigenous grapes cultivated in the hills of Radicondoli, Siena, at the estate of Podere Tesoro.
Soil: Well-exposed soils with a limestone base that naturally supports bright, sustained acidity — ideal for crafting elegant sparkling wines.
Climate & Harvest
Climate: The area benefits from excellent ventilation and a favourable temperature range, helping the grapes preserve freshness, aromatic definition, and acidity.
Harvest: Depending on the vintage, the harvest takes place between late August and early September to ensure optimal ripening and the precise acidity required for high-quality sparkling production.
Winemaking
Vinification: Soft pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to maintain the grapes’ natural aromas and achieve a base wine with vibrant acidity and clean fragrance.
Second fermentation: Carried out using selected yeasts in temperature- and pressure-controlled stainless steel autoclaves, following the Charmat method, to produce Brilliante’s fine, persistent perlage and lively freshness.
